QSC seeks an experienced and self-motivated Director, Systems Business Development to target and win global enterprise accounts, further develop QSC’s presence in the systems market, and contribute to the thought leadership and vision of QSC’s Systems Business with special emphasis on the corporate market segment. This is a great opportunity to a candidate who realizes the value that technology can provide to end-users, and is interested in providing solutions that meet their needs. As Director, Systems Business Development you will take the lead on cultivating and seeking new business through Fortune 500 end user outreach, serving as a technology/product portfolio advocate, and assisting the global standardization efforts of large enterprises using QSC solutions. In this key position, you will work closely with marketing, sales, and product management teams to serve and support global enterprise accounts and implement business development initiatives that maximize and grow of QSC’s Systems Business. The successful candidate will be part of a great team creating stable, long-lasting impact in the AV industry through QSC’s innovative SW-based audio, video and control platform and other offerings.


Education and Experience:

Minimum 12 years of professional audio-visual industry experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role with a top integrator, consultancy or manufacturing company in the corporate market segment.
Deep understanding of AV design and end user needs.
Strong understanding of solution selling in networked audio, video, and control.
Ability to connect with executives and influence decision makers
Expert communication, people and negotiating skills, relationship building.
Excellent business acumen, problem solving skills, and analytical thinking.
Team player, personable, empathetic, and diplomatic.
Energetic and Enthusiastic.
Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Global enterprise outreach and account management:
Have a holistic understanding of the AV technology vision and priorities of global enterprises.
Build and maintain high visibility with Fortune 500 companies and identify potential clients.
Act as a key contact for global enterprise accounts.
Establish and maintain relationships and rapport with key AV decision makers and influencers.
Seek out new business and devise business strategies to determine their business needs and requirements, how you will satisfy these needs/requirements and how to grow QSC’s business with them
Identify new sales leads, size project opportunities, and cultivate pipeline for target accounts.
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
Collaborate with and leverage other members of the QSC team to assist with project opportunities and fulfill technical, operations, logistics and other needs.
Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of QSC’s vision, technologies and solutions.
Business development capability building:
Contribute to building and scaling up QSC’s global business development capabilities as the organization grows.
Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
Marketing and advocacy:
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and technology trends and their impact on QSC’s systems business today and in the future.
Use knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and participate in developing QSC System’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
Participate in industry roundtable discussions and events and fulfill speaking engagements at industry conferences as needed.
