Excellent opportunity for an iOS Applications Developer to join a small development team at the Yamaha R&D Centre in Chiswick, west London. As part of one of the world’s leading Pro Audio equipment manufacturers, this team is developing mobile device applications for use with Yamaha’s highly respected digital mixing consoles and other professional audio products.


Essential Skills

• Objective C
• C++
• STL
• iOS APIs
• Xcode


Desirable Skills

• Perforce or other version control systems
• Knowledge of iOS release procedures
• Unit Testing
• Python


The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or relevant industry experience and will be a fluent English speaker. Knowledge about music production and/or professional audio equipment would be extremely valuable.

A team of engineers based at the R&D Centre are also responsible for the programming of computer software as an increasingly important element of Yamaha’s product developments. Software content development for electronic musical instruments is another important activity of the center.
