Responsibilities

Development of loudspeaker systems, transducers and headphones. Research on related topics


Education

Bachelors, Masters graduate or Doctorate in an appropriate technical discipline such as Electro-Acoustics, Acoustical Engineering or Physics


Required Skills

* Understanding of loudspeaker theory
* Passionate about sound quality and skilled in critical listening
* Methodical and scientific approach to any technical problem
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills
* Ability to innovate and bring new ideas into products
* Experienced in computer modelling and acoustic measurement
* High level of computer literacy, including some experience of programming or scripting
* CAD competence in 2D or 3D


Preferred Skills

* Experience designing loudspeaker or headphone drivers
* Experience using FEA and Non-linear modelling and analysis
* Knowledge of advanced materials
* Knowledge of listening room acoustics
* Ability to source and recommend new materials for audio transducers and enclosures
* Experience with Matlab, Python, C, C++ or other suitable technical programming language
* Experience in project management (MS Project, etc.)
