Software Engineer Intern

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a software development internship position to assist in the development of audio applications and plugins. Depending on the needs and priorities of the team, this may include the engineering of automated testing tools, unit tests, user interfaces and other software development tasks as required. The ideal candidate would have or be working toward a degree in Computer Science or related field with 2 to 3 years of relevant programming experience.

Responsibilities may include:

Working with our engineering and QA teams to develop new products
Maintaining and upgrading existing software products
Developing unit tests and automated tests for quality assurance
Improving and maintaining our product builds
Testing to ensure correctness and accuracy of user interface and DSP implementation
Addressing known issues in our codebase
Working in a team-based environment

Preferred Qualifications:

In depth knowledge of one or more object oriented languages (e.g. C++ or Java)
Knowledge of scripting languages are a plus (e.g. Python)
Experience using or developing automated software testing tools
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Software Engineer in Test

Key Responsibilities:

Regular duties and responsibilities

• Collaborates with stakeholders to develop business justifications for new products or updates to existing products.
• Furthers business justifications into more elaborate and detailed Release Plans, achieved only through close collaboration with a product team of both inside and outside designers, engineers and program management.
• Iterates with the team to validate hypotheses around product goals and designs, creating a tight feedback loop between key stakeholders and target customers.
• Works closely with the product team to guide product development, keeping the team and stakeholders aligned on product release goals.
• Drives marketing launch materials, activities and campaigns, collaborating closely with iZotope Marketing and Sales.
• Tracks and maintains product performance alongside goals and expectations, feeding market and customer feedback into our development process for future iteration.
• Works across all departments to manage the end of life of a product.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for multiple product lines within a business segment, and will play an active role in company strategy and long term product planning.

Senior Product Manager candidates will have 7-10 years of relevant experience, spanning multiple target markets.

Ever curious and outgoing, the Senior Product Manager thrives on learning from customers and team members alike. To that extent, 10%-15% domestic and international travel is expected – to attend trade shows, events, and to visit and interview customers.
