About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a software development position focused on developing applications and plugins for sound designers and musicians. Qualified applications should have in-depth knowledge and demonstrable experience designing, developing and debugging software in C/C++, and a passion for music and audio technology. The ideal candidate would have prior experience developing virtual instruments and/or audio plugins and be familiar with trends in audio software.
Responsibilities will include:
• Working with our engineering and QA teams to develop new products in C/C++
• Maintaining and upgrading existing software products
• Development of unit and automated tests for quality assurance
• Assisting in the development of in-house SDKs and frameworks
• Testing to ensuring correctness and accuracy of user interface and DSP implementation
• Developing for multiple desktop platforms (PC/Mac) as well as mobile (iOS/Android) and/or gaming platforms (Xbox/PS3) where necessary
• Bug fixing
Required Qualifications:
• 1 or more years of C/C++ development experience
• BS Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Working knowledge of computer audio and music
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Team player
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience developing user interfaces
• Experience using and/or developing audio plugin SDKs
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Apple Xcode, and Git
• Working knowledge of DSP and/or MIDI
• Experience with Agile software development using Scrum
