Surround Conference
Piteå, Sweden. June 30 - July 2
Surround sound is of great interest to the audio community. Two of the previous AES International Conferences have been focused on the different aspects of surround sound: the 19th in Schloss Elmau, Germany and the 24th in Banff, Canada.
Once again the time has come for researchers and engineers to share their work in the field. This time, the conference is held at the School of Music at Luleå University of Technology at Piteå, Sweden. A new feature for this conference is a two-day pre-conference on Education in Audio for audio educators. Participants in both the pre-conference and the surround sound conference will pay a reduced fee.
The programme comprises more than 30 papers and posters on topics related to surround sound. In addition, demos and panel discussions will be held.
On Saturday evening there will be a banquet at Pite Havsbad, a seaside entertainment and conference center.
