Authors

Dear AES 148th presenting author,

Please take a minute to review the following important items related to your presentation at the AES 148th Convention in Vienna.

1. Presenting Author fee
Invoices for the Presenting Author fee have been emailed to all presenting authors. If you have not paid you need to immediately contact Bill McQuaide.

2. Facilities Requests
Note the data projectors will produce a 16:9 aspect ratio image.
Lecture authors who are thinking that their presentation will require more than video—HDMI (preferred) and VGA(supported)—and standard 3.5mm stereo minijack connection, should contact the facilities chairs as soon as possible.
All authors need to bring their own laptop computers. Mac users need to bring their own adapters.

3. Check the current schedule online to see the current list of paper sessions for the day and time of your presentation. (If you're giving an eBrief check here instead.)

4. Authors who have paid the Presenting Author fee will receive 4-day All-Access badges. The papers of authors who do not pay the Presenting Author fee will be withdrawn from presentation at the convention and will not be included in the AES E-Library.
AES members will have access to the 148th papers in the E-Library around 10 days before the convention.

5. Meet in Presentation Room 30 minutes before start of session.
Please plan on being on site at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of your session. Meet in the presentation room at that time, or immediately following the preceding session to meet the session chair and to test audio- visual needs. All lecture papers are scheduled for 30-minute presentations, which will include a short introduction of the presenting author and a 5- minute question-and-answer session at the end. All ebrief lectures are 15- minute presentations. Authors are requested to remain in the lecture room throughout the session to answer follow-up questions that may arise during or after other papers in the session.
Authors in poster sessions who are also giving introductions in lecture sessions should follow these same guidelines: arrive in the lecture room for your introduction approximately 30 before you are scheduled to present.

6. Poster guidelines.
Authors making poster presentations should download the guidelines for posters. Authors should go to the poster area (Liffey B) 30 minutes before the start of their session. These guidelines also apply for authors presenting Engineering Briefs in poster sessions.

7. PowerPoint Template
If you'd like to use the official AES PowerPoint template for your presentation you can download it here.

8. There will be limited wifi at the convention center.
Check on the Austria Center website for more details: https://www.acv.at/teilnehmen/attend2.html

9. Further questions?
If you have any further questions contact Bill McQuaide or the papers cochairs
