AIP02 - Designing with Dante and AES67/SMPTE 2110

In September 2019, Audinate added support for SMPTE ST 2110 in Dante devices. In this presentation, Audinate will share its vision on how Dante and AES67/SMPTE 2110 can be used together in a modern studio, including Dante Domain Manager. A tour of Dante’s managed and unmanaged integration with open standards will lead to a discussion of the need for network security, Layer 3 traversal, and fault monitoring in real time. All will be laid out with practical diagrams of broadcast studios from location sound, to small studios and large properties for practical application.
