Konstantinos Tsitouas was born in Athens in 1976. He is a PhD candidate of the Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business and an active member of the Department of Wireless Networks and Multimedia (https://mm.aueb.gr/). Since 2014 he is a partner of the Folk and Traditional Music Department of the former TEI of Epirus where he teaches the courses Music Technology I and II in theory and lab. The subject of his dissertation focuses on the very fast transmission of sound over the Internet for the purposes of Network Music Performance. He holds a master degree in Arts and Sound Technologies from the Ionian University Music Department and a master degree in Radio Electronics with emphasis on Computer Networks from the Department of Physics and Informatics of the University of Athens. He has conducted interactive audio installations as well as video ones with the main google bike (googlebike.gr) video installation in which the visitor is browsing google earth using a simple bike. He maintains an online platform for creating live music concerts via the internet. At the same time he is involved in post-graduate education where he teaches in the fields of electronics, computer science, networks and music technology.
