Yong Shen is a professor in Nanjing University and received his bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees in acoustics from Nanjing University in 1987, 1990 and 1997, respectively. He has been working at the Institute of Acoustics of Nanjing University for more than twenty years and presently directs the electroacoustics R&D group. He has been working in many areas such as loudspeakers, wave field, perceptual evaluation, and national and international standards.
Yong Shen is a member of AES, and was the chief representative of China. He chaired the ISEAT (International Symposium on ElectroAcoustic Technologies) held every other year since 2007 in Shenzhen, China.
