Justin Paterson

Professor Justin Paterson is a programmer, producer and author of more than 20 years experience. Recent research has been around interactive music playback. He is principal investigator of the (UK) AHRC-funded ‘commercialization of interactive music’ project with Warner Music Group, and co-developer of the ‘variPlay’ series of apps.
He is also currently working on creative applications of 3-D audio in virtual reality.
Justin leads the MA Advanced Music Technology at LCM | UWL in the UK. He is co-chair of the Innovation in Music conference series.
