Alex Wilson

Alex Wilson is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the
University of Salford, having completed a PhD at the same
institution in 2017, investigating the perception of audio
quality in music production. He received a B.Sc. in experimental physics from NUI Maynooth in 2008 and a B.Eng.
in audio technology from University of Salford in 2013,
which included industrial experience in studio monitor design.
He maintains interests in digital audio processing,
music psychology, and the art of record production.
