Maria Luis Valero received a Dipl.-Ing. degree in telecommunication engineering from the Technical University of Madrid (ETSIT-UPM) in 2007. She joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS) in 2007, where she worked as a researcher in the field of parametric multichannel coding. Since 2014, she works as a researcher at the International Audio Laboratories Erlangen.
