Developers often face challenges when attempting to integrate visual based virtual reality environments and auditory based virtual auditory environment signal processing. This live coding tutorial session will demonstrate the ease of bridging two disparate environments vis Open Sound Control (OSC). Alone, these two environments offer a great deal of control and complexity for their respective domains (Max in Audio and UE4 in Visual). Together, they offer complete control and synchrony for virtual reality applications requiring multichannel virtual auditory environments. This tutorial will demonstrate a from-scratch approach to getting the two platforms set up to communicate with one another.
