Steve started Equity Sound in 1984, designing and manufacturing loudspeakers for installations and sound reinforcement. In 1996 Steve joined Harman's automotive division and from 2000 to 2006 he managed Harman's global automotive acoustics Advanced Technology Group that included industry icons Dr. Richard Small, Don Keele & Dr. Alfred Svobodnik. In 2006 Steve moved on to independent consulting in pro, consumer and automotive audio where he has provided design, business and technology guidance for many companies in USA, Europe and Asia. Steve holds 16 patents, serves as Chair of the AES Standards Committee SC04-03, Loudspeaker Measurement and Modeling & chairs the Technical Committee: Loudspeakers & Headphones.
