Tom is a senior consultant at Plextek, where his research interests include algorithm design and signal processing for biosensing, audio, and digital communications.
Before Plextek, Tom was Senior DSP Software Engineer at Noise Cancellation Technologies where he developed speech processing algorithms. He started his career as DSP Software Engineer at Signal Processors Ltd working on satellite baseband and digital IF.
Tom holds a Ph.D. from the Institute of Digital Communications in the University of Edinburgh, an M.Sc. with Distinction in DSP for Communication Systems from Lancaster University and a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Durham.
