Daniel Birczynski is a sound designer for video games and other visual media. He currently holds position of a senior sound designer at Sony Santa Monica (Sony Interactive Entertainment) where he has worked on titles such as “God of War: Ascension”, “Hohokum”, “Starhawk” and most recently “Bound”. Before that, he worked at Activision on a number of projects including “Skylanders”. Before becoming a sought after sound designer, he was a successful percussion player. His music background has led him to many collaborations with composers and producers on musical sound design as well as working as an engineer, music supervisor, orchestrator and score production coordinator. He made Los Angeles his home with his wife and a 6-year old son.
