AES Paris 2016 Presenter or Author

Lorenzo Chiesi

Primary Affiliation: University of Parma - Parma, Italy

Lorenzo received in 2005 First-Class Degree summa cum laude in Electronics Engineering from the University of Parma with a thesis in the field of hybrid audio power amplifier (analog/digital).
In 2009 he received from the same university the Master Degree summa cum laude in Electronics Engineering discussing a thesis in the field of electroacoustic on a new approach to digital processing of spherical microphone arrays signals based on FIR filters, synthetized by inversion of experimental measurements of impulse response. His thesis project was sponsored and is actually in use by RAI (National italian television broadcaster).
In 2012 he join University of Parma as Research Fellow and Ph.D. student continuing his work on microphone array system and audio DSP algorithm.
In 2016 he received the Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering discussing a thesis in the field of electroacoustic about use of microphone and loudspeaker arrays for room acoustic measurements.
