Koji Tsumoto

Koji Tsumoto is a founder and CEO of Asian Sound International Incorporated, founder and president of ISM Guitarist Training School in Tokyo. He received his B.A. in music from Berklee College of Music in 1997, M.A. in music from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2016. He joined the doctor program in Psychoacoustic at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2016. He is a former faculty member at Berklee College of Music, Pan School of Music, and Shobi Music College. He is also a professional guitar player. He has released five original CD albums and has published over twenty music instructional books including best selling book for Jazz theory. His general research area is timbre analysis. His research interests are overdrive and distortion effect processors for musical instruments and psychological evaluations of timbres.
