Jay Yeary is an audio engineer specializing in broadcast and media. His far-ranging experience includes FOH, live broadcast mixing, sound design, music editing, and technical broadcast engineering. He is currently the author of the "Inside Audio" column for TV Technology Magazine.

He is an AES Fellow, two-time chair of the Atlanta AES section, a member of both SMPTE and SBE, and a multiple Emmy Award winner.

In 2015, after almost three decades in Atlanta, he and his family relocated to San Antonio, Texas.
