Stephan Preihs

Stephan Preihs received his Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering, with an emphasis on communications engineering and high frequency technology, from the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany in 2010.

Since August of 2010, he has been working as a research assistant towards a doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) at the Institut für Informationsverarbeitung (TNT) of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany.

His research interests include low-delay scalable audio coding, low-delay filterbanks, predictive coding and error-concealment techniques.
