Mobile phones

Roaming in Poland is provided by four major telecommunications operators: T-Mobile, Orange, Plus, Play. The services include full range 2G (GSM 900/1800), 3G (UMTS) and 4G (LTE). The roaming charges are regulated by EU directives. The country code for numbers in Poland is +48.

Internet access

There are several free WiFi hotspots, mostly in touristic area. It is easy to find one in cafes and stores. For the list of free WiFi hotspots, please follow the link below: http://www.um.warszawa.pl/node/145980 It is also possible to buy a pre-paid data SIM card with Internet access, for your mobile phone or tablet. Postal service

To send a postcard from Poland you have to find a newsagent or a post office (e.g. Poczta Polska), where you can buy a postcard and a stamp (for economical letters up to 50g it is 5.20zl - the price does not depends on the destination). Then, you have to put it into one of the red mailboxes, easily found around the city centre or post offices.
