USITT (United States Institute for Theatre Technology)

USITT, the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, is the association of entertainment industry professionals who create great venues and great events. USITT connects all segments of the design and production community to share ideas and technologies. USITT’s Sound Design & Technology Commission is for people interested in the use of sound as a part of dramatic, theatrical, and entertainment presentations. It fosters communication, information exchange, and project activity throughout the industry. 2014’s USITT Annual Conference & Stage Expo showcases Sound Lab, with sessions on touring and concert sound design and implementation. Already committed to be in Fort Worth, Texas from March 26 to 29 for this event include Shure, Rational Acoustics, Meyer Sound, d&b audiotechnik, TiMax, L'Acoustics, Soundcraft, Duck’s Echo, and DiGiCo.
