Dear AES 135th presenting author,

Please take a minute to review the following important items related to your presentation at the AES 135th Convention in New York.

1. Registration
A special registration page for presenting authors has been created. We have assigned each presenting author a unique VIP registration code that will be sent to you in a separate email; this code can be used by only one person. Your personal information from the paper-submission site has been used to populate this page, saving you the trouble of reentering it. You will be able to update this information if it has changed. Please register online as soon as possible. Only one presenting author is allowed per paper. All nonpresenting authors should register here. You can pick up your badge at the registration desk at the convention center.

2. Fill out the online facilities form.
All authors giving lecture presentations fill out the online form as soon as possible.

3. Check the current schedule online to see the current list of papers sessions for the day and time of your presentation. (If you're giving an eBrief check here instead.)

4. Presenting authors receive a free CD-ROM of the convention papers (only those authors who have paid for an All Access badge get a free CD-ROM). You can pick up your CD-ROM at the AES Store at the convention center. Please note that authors will not receive any printed copies of their papers.

5. Meet in Authors’ Room.
All presenting authors, both lectures and posters, should meet in the Authors' Room at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start of their session. All lecture papers are scheduled for 30-minute presentations, which will include a short introduction of the presenting author and a 5-minute question-and-answer session at the end. (Note: eBrief lectures will be presented in 15-minute intervals.) Authors are requested to remain in the lecture room throughout the session to answer follow-up questions that may arise during or after other papers in the session.

6. Poster guidelines.
Authors making poster presentations should download the guidelines for posters. Authors should go to the Author’s Room 30 minutes before the start of their session to get pushpins for securing posters to the poster boards. These guidelines also apply for authors presenting Engineering Briefs in poster sessions.

7. Further questions?
If you have any further questions contact Bill McQuaide or the papers cochairs, Brett Leonard and Tae Hong Park.

Authors who need letters of invitation to obtain a visa should contact Bill McQuaide.
