Education Track Event

Student / Career: Student Recording Critiques

Co-moderators:
Ian Corbett, Kansas City Kansas Community College - Kansas City, KS, USA
David Greenspan, University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, MI, USA

Abstract:
Students are encouraged to bring in their stereo or surround projects to this non-competitive listening session for feedback and comments from a panel and audience. Students will be able to sign-up for time slots at the first SDA meeting and at the Student Science Spot, on a first come, first served basis. Students who are finalists in the Recording Competition are excluded from participating in this event to allow the many non-finalists an opportunity for feedback on their hard work. Bring your stereo or surround work on CD, DVD, or hard disc as clearly-labeled .wav files. The Student Recording Critiques are generously sponsord by PMC.

Many of the sessions not mentioned here will be of interest to students, depending on their specialization and progress. Especially all Tutorials, Master Classes, the Live Sound Seminars, and many of the Workshops have much to offer.
