Abstract:
SMT is a boutique recording studio in Chelsea. Since its founding in 2005, it has offered a new experience in the music industry. While other recording studios can seem sterile and impersonal, SMT provides a comfortable atmosphere to inspire creative minds. SMT's world-class mix room will be upgraded next month, when a vintage 64-channel SSL 4000 G+ console will replace the current DMX-R100 digital console. SMT's mixing location is complemented by partner tracking studio
Treefort Recording in the DUMBO area of Brooklyn, which features an extensive selection of vintage amplifiers, microphones, and tape machines.
Technical Tours are made available on a first come, first served basis. Tickets can be purchased during normal registration hours at the convention center.
