TT3 - TECHNICAL UNIVERISITY AT DELFT—ACOUSTIC GROUP

Abstract:
Acoustics Group, Delft

After an introductory presentation on the research program of the Delft Acoustics Group - ranging from imaging techniques for seismic exploration and medical diagnostics to traffic noise abatement and surround sound reproduction - demonstrations will be given of present work related to audio technology. Attention will be paid, among others, to sound recording using a spherical microphone array, sound reproduction in WFS format using flat panel loudspeaker arrays, improvement of speech intelligibility using hearing glasses, and new approaches to the interpretation of room impulse responses.


Technical Tours are made available on a first come, first served basis. Tickets can be purchased during normal registration hours at the convention center.
