123rd AES Convention Press Release
AES POSTS PRELIMINARY 123rd CONVENTION EVENTS CALENDAR
NEW YORK: The 123rd Audio Engineering Society Convention Committee is entering the final stages of preparation for this years event in NYCs Javits Center - Oct. 5-8. To aid attendees in optimizing the pre-planning of their visits, the AES has posted a Detailed Preliminary Calendar of Events. The easy-to-navigate, full-color schedule, includes program titles, participants and drop-down boxes of indispensable information. The 123rd looms as one of the most exciting and information-intensive events in our 59 year history, said AES Executive Director Roger Furness. The Committee has developed a far-ranging and extremely contemporary program. Workshops, Papers, Tutorials, Technical Tours, Platinum, Broadcast, Live Sound, Student, Historical and Special Events have all been focused on informing and inspiring our attendees. Committee Chair Jim Anderson adds, While there may be some last minute shuffling of times, locations and dates, The Preliminary Calendar will provide attendees with an extremely accessible overview of what we believe is an outstanding technical program. Planning their schedules around this template should simplify and optimize their Convention experience. Attendees should also book their hotel reservations at reduced rates.
