Abstract:
RF Wireless Update: What the Latest Government Rulings Mean To You

RF interference at live concerts, sporting events, news coverage and worship ceremonies has created new technical challenges for wireless microphone operators. Current "White Spaces" legislation before Congress is slated to allow a new host of unlicensed mobile devices (phones, PDAs, etc.) to operate in the TV spectrum, which will add significantly to the problems. What is the status of this legislation? What is the latest news from the
FCC? Is there a technical or political solution? These questions will be answered by leading experts.

This session is sponsored by Audio-Technica and Sennheiser.
