Metropolitan Opera House

The Metropolitan Opera House was founded in 1883 and moved to its present Lincoln Center location in 1966. The auditorium holds 4,000 people and has a volume of 873,000-cu. ft. This world famous opera company has retained its preeminent position as one of the cultural wonders of the world. Equipped with the finest technical facilities, The Met stages more than 200 performances each season in the Lincoln Center complex and broadcasts numerous live productions each year via PBS.

Price: $25 members; $35 nonmembers


Technical Tours are made available on a first come, first served basis. Tickets can be purchased during normal registration hours at the convention center.
