“Fingerprint” Studios, Landmark Concerts & The Father of FM

NEW YORK:
119th AES Convention Historical Events Chair, Harry Hirsch, has developed a riveting series of programs and events that include: recounting the history of sound reinforcement; recreating a live audio drama and celebrating FM Radio’s 70th birthday. Set for Oct. 7-10 in NY’s Javits Center, the Convention will host 400+ exhibitors and anticipates 20,000 attendees.

“Harry Hirsch is a pro audio pioneer in the truest sense of the word,” says AES Executive Director Roger Furness. “His association with such seminal studios as Media Sound and SoundMixers and his early championship of CD and DVD replication services mark him as a genuine visionary. This is the first time Harry has served on an AES Convention Committee. We are delighted to have the benefit of his experience and boundless enthusiasm.”
