Abstract:
Having matured from theory to reality, digital radio is an integral component of today’s multifaceted communications industry. This broadcast event is a discussion of the development, implementation, and adaptation of digital radio technology in the United States. It will cover terrestrial, satellite, short wave and multicasting, broadcaster adoption, transmission, reception, and consumer reaction. This is a chance to become familiar with the newest radio technology that is being successfully adopted in the U.S.
