Abstract:
Premium audio and surround sound have become synonymous for the automotive market. The extension of the home theater experience to the automobile is what the market is demanding. More vehicles are being introduced every year with discrete surround sound playback capability to create the best possible sound experience for the new car buyer. What does the popularity of discrete surround sound mean for automotive suppliers, recording engineers and musicians? The panel will explore these issues from a variety of perspectives including that of composer, musician, producer, recording engineer, and premium audio automotive supplier.
