This tour includes a visit to the new production and broadcasting center of the public Radio stations ‘Bayern 1’ and ‘Bayern 3’, with their fully digital and networked studios. These studios have started operation at the beginning of 2002. They are equipped with self-drive (‘D.J.’) operation in a comprehensive network using hard disk storage. Also, the ‘hot room’ (close to the control room) for last minute editing of news, traffic information, weather forecast and listener- services will be shown.
