Today's audio system suppliers and their customers are using objective audio system measurement of vehicles. Employing sophisticated computer-based measurement systems and microphone setups, the method is utilized to document a vehicle's performance, identify potential system problems, and as a supplement to listening evaluation for a more efficient system tuning process. This workshop featured presentations and discussions relating to the various methods of objective automotive audio system evaluation in use today. Similarities and differences between the methods were offered.
