The Audio Engineering Society and co-sponsor Steinway presented the Songwriters Showcase: "It's All About the Song." This event marked the second time the AES will incorporated live original music into its convention schedule. The roster of performers included international composers and songwriters. The event featured a wide spectrum of musical genres. Members of ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC performed original works at daily performances. A complete schedule of performers was posted in the South Concourse area throughout the four-day convention.
