The age old art of writing letters with pen and paper may shortly become a thing of the past. The new General Electric Letterwriter has removed both pen and paper from letter writing. A small plastic disc is embossed in the -writer's- own voice. The disc slips into a standard envelope and is mailed with the simplicity of normal letters. The receiver plays the disc back on a Letterwriter and -hears- the letter with the same feeling that a telephone call conveys.
