The Nagano Games were the last Winter Games held this century and the first following the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta. Sound reinforcement systems for the Winter Games have some difficulties to be solved from the point of sound system design. This paper describes how sound systems for the Nagano Games were designed and performed.
