New Radio Broadcasting Studio with Disc Based Mixing Facility for 3-2 Multi Channel Audio Dramas
The CR-602, NHK's new radio broadcasting studio, can produce audio dramas using 3-2, 3-l surround as well as conventional 2-channel stereo. With a network server: installed, all production based on Total Disc Base can be exchanged between this: studio and the editing room. This paper reports on the CR-602 studio equipment, surround mixing techniques, and the advantages of the studio.
