Sound System for a Cathedral with Long Reverberation Time

Document Thumbnail

The gothic Munich cathedral "Unserer lieben Frau" was renovated during 1989 - 1994. No acoustical consultation was made, therefore the RT60 went above 10 seconds with a maximum of 13.6 seconds in the 250 Hz octave. A new sound system (1996-1997) gives feedback-free speech distribution and an occupancy dependent volume and speaker zone control.
