Distributed Mode Loudspeaker Polar Patterns
The distributed mode loudspeaker's polar response is analyzed with reference to its radiation mechanism. In particular the polar response below and above the supersonic plate propagation boundary is examined. The paper shows that a quasi omnidirectional response is possible.
