Small Room Acoustics in the Statistical Region

This paper discusses the statistical characteristics of sound in rooms with an emphasis on the statistical frequency region. The statistical region is defined in relation to and contrasted with the modal frequency region. Specific problems associated with making measurements in the statistical region are discussed.
