A museum exhibit provides visitors the opportunity to experience the relationship between sounds and performance space. The impulse responses of real rooms have been measured, and a simulator (Spatialisateur) has been programmed to imitate these spaces. Elementary volumes are imitated using simpler algorithms. A tracking system enhances the spatial illusion by compensating for the movements of the listener's head.
