Conventional finite impulse response (FIR) filters are not very efficient for providing the low-frequency boost required for efficient crosstalk cancellation over a wide frequency range. Warped FIR (WFIR) filters are better suited for the task because they have better resolution at low frequencies. An implementation of a crosstalk cancellation network for the stereo dipole demonstrates the advantage of using warped filters.
