Realtime Room Acoustics Using Ambisonics
This paper discusses a two-stage technique for simulating room acoustics. In the first stage an accurate model of the room's acoustical field is generated along with a graphical model of the environment. The second stage uses ambisonics to auralize the rendered sound field in three dimensions in real time.
