Position-Independent Enhancement of Reverberant Speech

A novel method for the enhancement of reverberant speech is presented. The technique, which is based on the observed segmental spectral magnitude characteristics of room impulse responses, overcomes the positional sensitivity, which makes the conventional room impulse response inversion method impractical.
