The All-Digital Radio Station

The planning and implementation of an all-digital radio station for classical music are described. The channel operates on DAB and FM in the Oslo region. Topics covered in the paper include: system philosophy, choice of audio program sources, interconnection, dealing with different sampling frequencies, synchronization, computers and network solutions, software for program planning and automation, DAB and FM feeds, and some conclusions.
