Acoustics of the Church of the Intercession at Fili (Moscow)
A new style in the architecture of churches was established in Russia in the 17th century. It is called, Naryshkin baroque, by the name of boyar family who built many churches of this style. There are two churches in the building of the Church; and they are located one above the other. The acoustics of both of them has been investigated for the first time. The structure of early sound reflections, the value of T60, C80, D50, and RASTI were measured. The subjective quality was also estimated in the lower Church during the concerts of the choir. The analysis of the received data is presented.
