The following two types of realistic control rooms were considered: floor area 50-/-20 m2, picture monitor CRT 36 in or equivalent; and floor area 100+/-30 m2, picture monitor perforated screen 140 in or equivalent. Interior fabrication acoustic characteristics, loudspeaker arrangement were specified. This paper proposes a guideline for designing control rooms for HDTV multichannel sound production.
