Programme Material Analysis
The paper describes an analysis of program material available on compact disc. The primary analysis is the average power distribution as a function of frequency. The program material was initially divided into ten groups, including a group for speech. The results have been compared to the IEC Standard (IEC 263) for the simulated program signal and its use in power rating.
