Computer Simulation of Loudspeakers in Rectangular Rooms

Document Thumbnail

However bizarre the shapes of many contemporary control rooms may be, the prevailing majority of listening rooms, especially in our homes, remains rectangular. A relatively simple loudspeaker-room simulator is presented, which makes it possible to predict and better understand the basic effects of rectangular rooms at low frequencies. Its principle is explained briefly, and its use is discussed.
